Project Approach

Prior to undertaking an analysis of the Finger Lakes area, a prototype project will be conducted for the Owasco Lake Watershed. This allows for testing the approach and making any needed adjustments prior to project implementation among several watersheds.
 
This project is being conducted by the Central New York Regional Planning and Development Board and the Institute for the Application of Geospatial Technology, with assistance from the Cayuga County Planning Department and others. Funding for this project was secured by United States Congressman James T. Walsh.
